Susan St. Amant joined the International Accounting Education Standards Board in January 2014. She was nominated by KPMG.
Ms. St. Amant has worked at KPMG for more than 26 years and currently serves as the partner in charge of training quality in KPMG Business School – Audit. She is responsible for the audit technical and behavioral curriculum and leads a team that designs, develops, and delivers training to more than 9,000 audit professionals. Prior to this assignment, Ms. St. Amant was a public sector partner in KPMG’s Washington,, DC office serving a college and university, not-for-profit, and governmental client base.
Ms. St. Amant has extensive experience providing financial statement audit, federal awards compliance audit, and performance improvement advisory services to complex not-for-profit organizations, including colleges and universities, foundations, research institutions, membership organizations, and governmental entities including municipalities, schools systems, and component units.
Ms. St. Amant is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. St. Amant has a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville (US).
