Tadeu Cendon is a Partner at PwC Brazil in the Risk and Quality Department. Since 2004, he has been responsible for providing accounting and auditing advice to audit teams on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA). With more than 27 years of experience in auditing and consulting services, he is a recognized IFRS specialist with technical and practical experience, including a two-year secondment to the PwC IFRS Global technical function (Global ACS) in the UK.

Until 2010, he was the PwC IFRS Partner responsible for PwC’s IFRS Accounting and Consulting Services (ACS) in South America. He is currently one of the PwC Global ACS Partners authorized to provide IFRS advice and review IFRS Financial Statements worldwide as part of the PwC out-of-territory review policy.

He is also the Director of Professional Development in the Brazilian Institute of Independent Auditors (IBRACON).

Mr. Cendon holds undergraduate degrees in accounting and business administration, as well as a post-graduate degree in financial administration and a master’s degree in accounting. He is a Brazilian CPA and also registered in the Brazilian National Independent Auditor Register (CNAI).

He has been active in IBRACON for many years, including participating in the Technical Standards Committee, which was the predecessor of the current Accounting Pronouncements Committee (CPC). He was also the Coordinator for a working group responsible for developing guidance for the CPC.
