Kim Watty

Professor Kim Watty joined the IPAE in 2018 as a CPA Australia nominated member. Kim is an Emeritus Professor of Accounting, Deakin Business School, Deakin University, Australia. Professor Watty has held senior academic positions including Deputy Dean and A/Dean Quality, standards and Accreditation. Her sustained research in accounting education has resulted in multiple refereed national and international publications and she has previously chaired the ABDC Learning and Teaching Network and CPA Australia's Professional Quality Assurance Committee.

In 2018 she received the CPA Award for her sustained contributions to the profession for over 20 years.

More recently she has expanded her roles to include: Non-executive Director, Adjunct Professor, University of Tasmania, AACSB Business School Mentor, Chair, Deakin College Academic Board of Studies and HE Consultant.

Kim is a fellow of CPA Australia, member of CAANZ and a Graduate of the AICD.
