Jacques Potdevin

Jacques Potdevin became a member of the Nominating Committee in January 2016. He was nominated by the Conseil Superieur de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables (CSOEC) and the Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes (CNCC).

Mr. Potdevin served as a member of the IFAC Board from 2009-2015. He has a history of active involvement in the Fédération des Experts Comptables Européens (FEE), having served as President from 2006 to 2008. He also previously served the organization as Deputy President and Vice President.

Mr. Potdevin is the founder of JPA International, an international accounting network with more than 154 offices in 60 countries. In addition, he has held memberships and leadership positions with various accounting organizations, including Compagnie des Conseils et Experts Financiers, the CSOEC, CNCC, and the Conseil National de la Comptabilité.

A certified public accountant for more than 35 years, Mr. Potdevin has also written and contributed to several published books on accountancy.
