Mr. Kelly Ayamba joined the IPSASB in January 2020 as Technical Advisor to Chris Nyong, having been nominated by the Firm of Ayamba Harcourt & Company (Chartered Accountants).

Mr. Ayamba is a Chartered Accountant and Public Financial Management Specialist with over twenty (20) years' experience in industry, professional practice and the public sector. He is currently the Principal Partner in the firm of Ayamba Harcourt & Company. He has previously worked as Audit Senior and Supervising Senior at KPMG and Deloitte in Nigeria and as Director of Accounts, Special Adviser and Commissioner for Finance in the Government of Cross River State of Nigeria.

Mr. Ayamba is a Past Chairman of the Calabar & District Society of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a Past Zonal Chairman of ICAN and has served as Member of Several Committees of ICAN. He is currently a Member of the ICAN Intergovernmental Relations Committee and Zonal Coordinator of the ICAN (Public Sector) Accountability Index.

Mr. Ayamba earned a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the prestigious Yaba College of Technology Lagos, Nigeria; a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
