Sylvie Soulier

Sylvie Soulier became a member of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) in January 2014, after previously serving as a technical advisor for a member of the board. She was nominated by Ernst & Young Global Limited.

Ms. Soulier is a partner at EY in the Global Independence Group, where she is responsible for overseeing independence policy, guidance, and implementation. She is also the independence partner for Asia Pacific, Japan and South and Latin America.

She has been involved with the activities of the IESBA, notably the development of the International Independence Standards of the International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants, for more than twelve years. She is currently a member of the IESBA Planning Committee and acting as coordination liaison with the IAASB.
