On November 9, 2017 the Monitoring Group released a Consultation Paper (CP) outlining proposed changes to the current International Standard Setting model. IFAC supports periodic reviews to make the model even better and stronger, but is concerned that the fundamental restructuring proposed by the MG will undermine the legitimacy and credibility of global standard-setting.
This site is clearing house of information. Here you will find IFAC’s initial views on the CP, supporting materials, and responses from Member Organizations and other stakeholders. We encourage all Member Organizations and other interested parties to submit your response to the Monitoring Group’s consultation through the official Monitoring Group website. You can also share your response and exchange ideas with other member organizations and stakeholders by uploading your Consultation Response here.
