COMPLETEDJoin IFAC and Asia-based regional partners for a virtual two-day Sustainability Summit! Following the release of ISSB's S1 and S2 and IAASB's Exposure Draft on sustainability assurance, this summit is tailor-made to raise awareness and fuel dynamic conversations about the surging demand for assurance engagements and the evolution of sustainability reporting. We'll delve into the impact of ISSB's S1 and S2 and IAASB's Exposure Draft on sustainability assurance.
Day 1 of the Summit will focus on the arrival of ISSB’s S1 and S2, with a presentation on the standards and a panel discussion on best practices by regional stakeholders on establishing sustainability standard-setting mechanisms (Boards, working groups, standard-setting) and best practices in establishing roadmaps to adopt the standards.
Day 2 of the Summit will focus on raising awareness of the IAASB’s new sustainability assurance standard, ISSA 5000, released as an Exposure Draft on August 2, with presentations from the IAASB and IFAC, and gather preliminary, high-level stakeholder views, mixing policy/advocacy and technical discussions
