Ensuring Inclusion of Those with Disabilities

In honor of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which will take place on December 3 2018, IFAC’s Professional Accountancy Organization Capacity Building Program will host a webinar promoting empowerment and ensuring inclusion and accommodation for persons with disabilities. Relevant experts from accountancy wil share their perspectives and highlight their organizations’ practices. Speakers will address understanding disabilities and practicing disability etiquette; accessibility and accommodations for students, members, staff, and volunteers; and awareness raising and advocating for disabled persons. The webinar will also include a message from an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants’ member who suffers from Cerebral Palsy and successfully completed ACCA by self-learning—a highlight of the webinar.
