Faris AlSaadi became the technical advisor for Abdullah Al-Mehthil in May 2025. He was nominated by Saudi Ministry of Finance with the support of National Standards Committee.

Mr. AlSaadi is the general manager of Financial Reporting and Statistics since March 2023 at the Ministry of Finance, Saudi Arabia. Faris oversees preparation, review, and publication of the Kingdom’s central government consolidated financial statements. He drives – along with other teams - enhancements to reporting frameworks, ensuring compliance with IPSAS convergence efforts, and suggesting policy formulation for standalone financial statements across governmental entities. In addition to the aforementioned, he manages Saudi Arabia’s unified chart of accounts as well as designs and implements process controls to improve data integrity, timeliness, and transparency of fiscal statistics.

Mr. AlSaadi holds a master's degree in accounting and Information Systems and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Southern Illinois University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the US and Certified Public Accountant in Saudi Arabia.

Elena Botvina is Economic Affairs Officer at the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Her work revolves around shaping policy frameworks and building capacities for sustainable finance as well as sustainability and SDG reporting, focusing on coordinating intergovernmental dialogue, conducting analytical studies, expanding technical cooperation and promoting capacity-building tools.

Iwona Warzecha is a Senior Financial Management Specialist at the World Bank with extensive experience in public and private sector accounting and auditing. She has led and contributed to many technical assistance projects, lending investment operations, and knowledge papers related to corporate financial reporting and auditing, and public financial management.

Miriam Koreen is the Senior Counsellor on SMEs and Head of the SME and Entrepreneurship Finance Unit at the Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities of the Organisation for Economic Co‑operation and Development (OECD). She leads the OECD Platform on Financing SMEs for Sustainability and the OECD SME and Entrepreneurship Financing Scoreboard.

Emma is a Manager at the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB).

Prior to joining the IPSASB, Emma worked at Deloitte Toronto, where she specialized in complex financial statement audits for large public companies across a range of industries – primarily in asset management, real estate, and financial services.  At the start of her career, Emma worked as a dental hygienist, gaining practical insight into the healthcare sector.

Emma is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting degree from the University of Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada).
