Diversity can help attract employees but won’t necessarily make them want to stay, according to AICPA Chair Kimberly Ellison Taylor. Organizations need to be diverse in both thought and leadership in order to be successful and remain relevant. Diversity, and inclusive leadership, can also be a significant competitive advantage small- and medium-sized practices can offer their staff.
