Andrew Conway, CEO of the Institute of Public Accountants in Australia, discusses the accountancy profession’s contribution to and influence on the G-20 agenda since the global financial crises of the last decade. Mr. Conway stresses the important role that IFAC and member organizations must play to ensure that accountancy and financial reporting, including integrated reporting, remain at the forefront of the G-20 agenda to help ensure regulators, policy makers, and government leaders understand the important role the profession plays in improving transparency and accountability for financial markets around the world.
