IFAC is pleased to present eight recommendations for consideration at the G-20 Leader’s Summit on November 15-16, 2014 in Brisbane, Australia. Our recommendations focus on achieving strong, sustainable, balanced growth; ensuring a more robust and resilient economy; and addressing causes of the global financial crisis through financial regulatory reform and enhanced international taxation systems.
IFAC submitted a comment letter to the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB)'s Consultation Paper, Proposals to Improve the Regulatory Regime for Listed Entity Auditors. IFAC commends the FSTB on issuing a very thorough and thoughtful consultation paper that addresses a range of matters that aims to improve the regulatory regime for listed entity auditors in Hong Kong.
IFAC submitted a comment letter in response to the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board Review Group (the Review Group)’s proposed governance arrangements for the International Public Sector Accounting Standard Board (IPSASB), detailed in the Consultation Paper.
The International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board has submitted to the IPSASB Governance Review Group its response to the public consultation paper on the Future Governance of the IPSASB.
The Review Group is chaired by representatives from the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and includes representatives from the Financial Stability Board, the International Organization of Securities Commissions and the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions.
The SMP Committee submitted this comment letter on the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board's Proposed Strategy for 2015-2019 and Proposed Work Program for 2015-2016.
