Prof. Lindawati Gani currently is a professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Indonesia (FEUI).   She currently serves as a member of Academic Senate and Professor Council Universitas Indonesia, a member of the National Council of Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia,  Board Treasurer of  Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship, a member of Research Panel Centre of Excellence Southeast Asia, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Board Treasurer of the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship, a member of Certification Board of Certified Professional Management Accountant Indonesia, an independent commissioner  and a member of audit committee in several publicly listed companies in Indonesia.

In the past, she has served in various positions at FEUI, including the Director of Master of Accounting Program and Accounting Profession Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia. She was a member of Certification Board for Professional Accountants – Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia. Her research interests currently is in the area of Management Accounting and Corporate Governance.

She obtained her undergraduate degree majoring in accounting from Universitas Airlangga, MBA degree majoring in general and strategic management from Institut Pengembangan Manajemen Indonesia in affliated with Harvard Business School, MM degree majoring in management accounting from FEUI, and PhD degree from FEUI. She is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Management Accountant.
