On August 19 & 20, 2025, accounting professionals from across Africa gathered in Nairobi, Kenya for the 2025 launch of the IFAC Connect Global Event Series. This year's Connect events focus on Leading Transformation: Global Standards, Regional Solutions, aiming to make global standards regionally relevant by creating forums for discussing the unique needs and solutions for specific regions around the world.

Co-hosted with the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), IFAC Connect Africa's 2025 agenda spanned two days and convened professional accountancy organizations, public and private sector leaders, regulators and standard setters.
