CMA (Dr.) S K Gupta is a Post Graduate in Commerce (Gold Medalist), FCS, FCMA, Ph. D (Corporate Governance) with over 43 years of corporate experience in leadership positions with various public and private sector organizations in the domains of Finance, Valuation, Costing, Internal Audit, Sustainability, Integrated Reporting and Company Secretarial functions. Currently Dr. Gupta is the Managing Director of Registered Valuers Organization of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He is also Chief Executive Officer of ICMAI Social Auditors Organization, and Chief Operating Officer of ICMAI International ADR Chamber. Dr. Gupta has chaired and addressed a large number of national and international seminars and conferences. He is a member of various Industry Associations and is a prolific writer. He has written over 300 articles and research papers which are regularly published in various professional national and International journals.

CMA (Dr.) Ashish Thatte
Cost and Management Accountant
CMA Dr. Ashish Thatte is a renowned Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) in the Country. He started his career as a CMA in a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company, Abbott India Limited. After winning the First Managing Director’s Award in the hands of Managing Director of the company for exceptional performance, he decided to find himself in the big world as a teaching professional.
He worked as a Professor in leading management institutions like the Chetana and Indira group of Institutions. He was associated with the visiting faculty in management colleges like ITM, ICFAI, IFEEL etc. He was also a leading faculty member in the Institute of Cost Accountants of India's Oral Coaching and Campus Orientation Program. He pioneered the Soft Skill Development Program for budding and upcoming CMA professionals during his tenure at Mumbai.
He has conducted numerous webinars, seminars and workshops for all 3 professional institutions at various locations across the country. He has conducted a number of webinars and corporate trainings for quite a few companies in and around India. He has also given professional talks in countries outside of India.
CMA Dr. Ashish Thatte completed his M.Com and Cost Accounting degrees before he joined the corporate world. After stepping into a teacher’s role, he successfully completed his studies for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the prestigious Symbiosis International Deemed University and never looked back. He is presently a Partner in the leading Cost and Management Accounting firm Joshi Apte and Associates where he specializes in Cost Audits, Cost Management, Internal Audits, Designing MIS, ERP Implementation and Valuations, etc. He is also an Insolvency Professional and an Independent Director.
He is popular for appearing on national and local television channels expressing his views on income tax, GST, and economic matters. He also writes articles for local newspapers which are quite popular. His scholarly articles are published by magazines across the country and world. He is also the youngest Chairman of Western India's Regional Council for the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). Presently he is Member of Central Council of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India 2023-27. Currently, he is also Chairman of Sustainability Standards Board and International Affairs Committee of ICMAI. He is a member of Member’s Development Committee (MDC) of Confederation of Asia Pacific Accountants (CAPA) from 2020-2024.
Besides all his activities he is a national- and international-level chess player and has won many medals as an individual, and on teams. He is an internationally rated chess player in India.

Andrew Hobbs
EMEIA Public Policy Leader
Andrew leads EY's Public Policy team for Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa. His team strengthens the relationship between the public and private sectors by monitoring policy developments and building strong relationships with international stakeholders on sustainability, technology, corporate governance, and skills. They work closely with European institutions, regulators, and international organisations, including the OECD, business groups, professional bodies, companies, investors, and academics.
Andrew's role includes coordinating with EY's Assurance business to support their interactions with independent regulators overseeing public interest audit work across EMEIA. He also collaborates with colleagues in similar roles in other EY regions, ensuring consistent policy and governance support. His interest in corporate governance extends to initiatives like EY's partnership with Tapestry Networks, and as of September 2022, he leads EMEIA's Center for Board Matters.
Andrew holds several prominent positions, including chair of the Research Advisory Board for ICAEW, chair of the Corporate Governance Working Group of the European Contact Group, and vice-chair of the Corporate Governance Policy Group of Accountancy Europe. He is also involved with the Financial Capital Committee of the International Corporate Governance Network, the Asia Corporate Governance Association India Working Group, and the Corporate Governance Committee of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee at the OECD. Additionally, he co-authors EY’s annual Long-Term Value and Sustainable Corporate Governance Survey and regularly writes blogs on corporate governance and trust.
Joanna Bernard
Senior Manager, IESBA
Joanna Bernard joined the IESBA in 2024 as Senior Manager focusing on Standards Development & Technical Projects. She is currently involved in the Using the Work of an External Expert Project developing revisions to the Code to address the ethical behavior expected in reporting and assurance areas.
Ms. Bernard has a broad range of experience from her roles at the French Central Bank (Banque de France) and the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) where she engaged with ECB, EBA and EIOPA related matters, and monitored financial regulation developments coordinating meetings of international committees and institutions (FSB, BIS, G7 and G20). Before ACPR, she held roles in BNP Paribas legal departments at an international level. She also worked as a corporate lawyer with asset management companies and law firms.
Ms. Bernard holds a Master of Laws from Paris 2-Pantheon-Assas University along with a Master of Legal and Judicial Proceedings from the University Paris 1-Pantheon-Sorbonne, France. She also holds a Master of Laws from the University of Gdansk, Poland, as well as a European Law diploma, from the Institute of Political Studies of Toulouse, France.

Kevin Reinhardt

Kevin joined the IAASB as a Staff Fellow in July 2024, seconded to IAASB from PwC. With IAASB, he is primarily focused on technology-related initiatives.
Kevin started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers within the Private Assurance practice in New York. In this role, he has supported private companies across multiple sectors, including technology, business services, manufacturing, and consumer products. In addition to his client work, he previously worked in PwC’s Quality Management Group within their US national office for a short-term rotation. In recent years, he has served as a transformation adoption leader for the New York Metro Private Assurance practice, where he has supported engagement teams in the adoption of new audit technologies.
Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Beth Brooke
US Olympic and Paralympic Committee Board Member
Beth Brooke serves on the Boards of The New York Times Company (NYT), eHealth (EHTH), SHEEX, the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the Lehigh Valley Health Network. She is the Co-Chair of VERITY Now and serves on the Knight Commission and the International Advisory Council for APCO Worldwide.
She was the former Global Vice Chair, Public Policy at EY and was a member of EY's Global Board. Beth oversaw public policy for the firm’s operations in 150 countries and was the global sponsor for EY’s Diversity and Inclusiveness (D&I) efforts. She has been named eleven times to Forbes list of "World's 100 Most Powerful Women".
Beth is a devoted advocate for the advancement of women and LGBTQ Inclusion. She has served on the US Delegation to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and has been named to OUTstanding and Financial Times’ LGBTQ Hall of Fame. She was instrumental in creating the Partnership for Global LGBTQ Equality, in partnership with the World Economic Forum. She currently invests in several female-founded companies related to women’s sports.
During the Clinton Administration, she worked in the U.S. Department of the Treasury and played important roles in the Administration’s healthcare reform and Superfund reform efforts.
Beth has also been actively engaged in numerous civic and business organizations. She previously chaired the board of Vital Voices and serves on the boards of The Conference Board, the Aspen Institute, and Tabby’s Place. She was in the inaugural class of the Henry Crown Fellows of The Aspen Institute.
At Purdue University, Beth was in the first class of women to receive scholarships under Title IX to play basketball and earned her undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Industrial Management, with highest distinction. She has been inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. She has honorary doctorates from Purdue, Indiana University and Babson College.

Stephen Coetzee
Stephen Coetzee, PhD (CA) SA, is a professor of accounting at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Stephen has taught financial accounting at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He supervises postgraduate research students, and his research interests include assessment and the use of technology in accounting education.
