CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal is a member of the International Panel of Accountancy Education (IPAE) from January 2024. He has been nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
He is currently the President of the ICAI and has been associated with the Institute since 2016 as its Council Member and served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of various important Committees of ICAI.
He has played a pivotal role in the successful implementation of initiatives such as UDIN and Bank Branch Audit Allocation Software, marking significant milestones for the Institute. Furthermore, his instrumental role in extending UDIN implementation to SAARC countries underscores his global impact. Mr. Agarwal's tenure as the Chairman of the Ethical Standards Board saw the formulation of a new Code of Ethics after a decade, a testament to his expertise and commitment to upholding ethical standards within the profession.
Under his guidance, the ICAI Policy of Centre of Excellence was approved, proposing establishment of 9 more COEs across India to help maximize the utilization of these centers and ensure the profession's continued growth through research and skill development activities.
Currently, he is also the Board member of SAFA (South Asian Federation of Accountants). Also, he represents ICAI on the Integrated Reporting and Connectivity Council (IRCC) and Board meetings of the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) and ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA).

Mr. Vishal Doshi became a member of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board in January 2024, nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), where he is the Vice Chair of the Auditing & Assurance Standards Board of ICAI.
Mr. Doshi has over 25 years of experience in auditing entities in different industries that includes banking, oil and gas, FMCG, engineering, pharmaceutical, specialty chemicals, ITeS, health care, ports, power, mining, capital markets, NBFC, social and charitable and rural development.
Mr. Doshi is well versed on a diverse number of topics relevant to Auditing Standards, Accounting Standards, Ind AS, Code of Ethics, etc. and have spoken about these at various forums.
He is also a member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants' Committee on Education, Training and CPD.
Pakistan
Farrukh Rehman joined the IFAC Professional Accountancy Organization Development & Advisory Group in January 2024. Previously he had served as Technical Advisor on the advisory group. He was nominated to the advisory group by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).
Mr. Rehman is the President of ICAP and an elected member of the council of ICAP. He also served as its Vice President for the term 2017-18. He is currently the Chairman of the Accounting Standards Board and Sustainability working group. He previously led various ICAP committees, including the auditing, examination, education, financial sector and chartered accountants women committee.
Mr. Rehman is a member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Board and member of SAFA's Accounting Standards Committee. He also represents ICAP at the BRI National Accounting Standards Cooperation Forum.
Mr. Rehman has a bachelor’s of commerce degree from Karachi University in 1991 and became Chartered Accountant in 1996. He became partner in A.F.Ferguson & Co (a member firm of PwC Network of Firms) in 2004 and has extensive experience in audit and assurance services.
Greece
Panagiotis Alamanos became a member of the IFAC PAO Development & Advisory Group in January 2024. He was nominated by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is the Managing Partner of Crowe Greece.
He earned a BSc from the London School of Economics and a MSCc from the Bayes Business School. He is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece
Netherlands
Berry Wammes became a member of the IFAC PAO Development & Advisory Group in January 2024. He was nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Netherlands (Royal NBA). He currently serves as program director after fourteen years in leadership positions with the NBA, including serving as CEO from 2020 to September 2023.
Mr. Wammes was trained as a marketing and communications professional and worked for small and large commercial organizations in the Netherlands. From 1997 to 2003 he was Chief Marketing Officer of KPMG Netherlands and in that capacity from 1998 to 2001 he was also responsible for the EMA area. Mr. Wammes held various leadership positions in the NBA, being responsible for professional standards, policy development and international affairs since 2009.
Since 2014, Berry Wammes has been intensively involved in audit reform in the Netherlands after a period of persistent accounting issues and social criticism. He was responsible for an extensive change program in the areas of fraud, business continuity, transparency, and culture and behavior.
From 2011 to 2023, Berry Wammes was a board member of the Limperg Institute, a research and post-academic education institute, and from 2013 to 2023 he was deputy secretary of the Foundation of the Dutch Accounting Standards Board.
New Zealand
Angela Ryan became a member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB) in January 2024. She was nominated by the New Zealand External Reporting Board.
Ms. Ryan is a principal accounting advisor for the New Zealand Treasury with over 17 years of experience in applying accrual accounting at the sovereign government level. This includes providing accounting policy advice on a range of issues affecting the Financial Statements of the Government of New Zealand.
Ms. Ryan has been actively involved in setting accounting standards in New Zealand for many years, both as a member and Deputy Chair of the External Reporting Board’s Accounting Standards Board until her term ended in December 2021. This will be Ms. Ryan’s second term on the IPSASB having been a member between 2015-2017, including Deputy Chair in 2017.
Ms. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University of Wellington and is a fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Burkina Faso
Yacouba Traoré became a member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standard Board in January 2024. He was nominated by ONECCA-BF.
Mr. Traoré taught international accounting standards and regional public sector accounting standards for years in higher School Institutions. Practitioner with 25 years of experience, he serves private and public sector entities. He contributes on a regular basis to international standards setting through comments submission and standards setters' forum attendances.
Mr. Traoré is the chair of the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA)'s Public Value Management Technical & Advisory Group since April 2022 and leads all that group activities. He is ONECCA-BF president and vice President of the National Accounting Council of Burkina Faso in charge of private and public sector accounting regulation and interpretation since October 2020.
Mr. Traoré sits in various professional accountancy organizations boards including PAFA, Féderation Internationale des Experts Comptes et Commissaires aux Comptes Francophones (FIDEF), the Conseil Permanent de la Profession Comptable (CPPC) an advisory council to the West African Monetary and Economic Union (WAEMU) and the Commission de Normalisation pour la Profession Comptable OHADA (CNPC OHADA) a regulatory body within the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa Organization (OHADA). He holds a chartered accountant degree namely Diplôme d'Expertise Comptable et Financière (DECOFI) and a master’s degree in finances, control & audit.
