Anoop Mehta

Mr. Anoop N. Mehta was appointed to the IFAC Nominating Committee in November 2025. He was nominated by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), where he served as Chairman from 2022–2023, and by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA/Association), where he also served as Chairman during the same period.

Mr. Mehta is currently the Chief Strategist for Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA), providing expertise in business development, strategic planning, and operational improvements for government and commercial organizations. Previously, he was President of Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI), where he led the company’s growth from a two-person firm to more than 1,000 employees, supporting NASA and the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) programs.

Mr. Mehta serves as Chairman of the AICPA’s National Commission on Diversity and Inclusion.

Mr. Mehta holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the US University of Maryland (UMD). He serves on the Board of Advisors for UMD’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and is an Executive in Residence for both the Robert H. Smith School of Business and the Milgard School of Business at the University of Washington Tacoma (US). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
