Comfort Olujumoke Eyitayo

Comfort Olujumoke Eyitayo is the Senior Partner of Comfort Olu. Eyitayo & Co, (Chartered Accountants), a firm of financial, management and tax practitioners. She is also the chief executive of COE Consulting, with expertise in business advisory, information technology, security control, among other areas.
She is currently a Fellow and member of the Presidency of the Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She is also ICAN’s immediate past president, having served from 2021 to 2022. In October 2022, the president of Nigeria conferred on Ms. Eyitayo National Honours in the rank of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) for her services to Nigeria and its accountancy profession.
Ms. Eyitayo also serves on numerous boards and advisory groups at the national, regional and global level for the accountancy profession, including her current role as a technical advisor for IFAC Development & Advisory Group member Alh. Razak Jaiyeola.

- Board member for the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (2021-2022)
- President, treasurer and board member (2020-2022) for the Association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa
- Board member for the Pan African Federation of Accountants (2020-2022)
- IFAC Council member (2021-2022)
Ms. Eyitayo is a member of Nigeria Institute of Management, Chartered Institute of Taxation, Computer Association of Nigeria, Computer Professionals, Society of Company & Commercial Accountant, Certified Forensic Auditor and Association of Certified Fraud Examiner. She is also a Certified Forensic and Investigative Auditor.
Ms. Eyitayo trained with KPMG U.K, an international firm, on secondment as in-house staff to pioneer the KPMG Nigeria Computer Audit Department. In this role, she designed and implemented the corporate/executive training curriculum. She also oversaw computer audit training and computer audit assignments of the firm.
Ms. Eyitayo is an alumnus of the prestigious National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru-Jos. She served as the National Treasurer of the Association for four years (2013- 2017) after a three-year period as the General Secretary of its Lagos Chapter. She is also an accomplished Author and Publisher.
