Title: Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes
Jean Bouquot is president of Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes (the French Institute of Statutory Auditors, or CNCC), a role he’s held since February 2017. From December 2012 to December 2014, Jean was vice-chairman of the Compagnie Régionale des Commissaires aux Comptes de Versailles (Regional Statutory Auditors professional body) and member of the Conseil National of Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes. Starting December 2014, he was elected chairman of the Compagnie Régionale des Commissaires aux Comptes de Versailles and starting February 2015, he has been appointed board member of the CNCC.
Mr. Bouquot has 38 years of experience, including being an audit partner at EY since 1992 and working at Arthur Andersen from 1980 to 2002. At EY, he led the assurance service line for France, Luxembourg and Maghreb from 2008 to 2015.
Mr. Bouquot graduated from the HEC business school and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris (Political Sciences Institute). He is both an Expert-comptable (French Chartered Accountant) and Commissaire aux comptes (French statutory auditor). He is an auditor at the 59th session IHDEN (Institut des Hautes Etudes de la Défense Nationale – French Army research center) and a Reserve colonel in the French Air Force since 2008.
