Farrukh Rehman, FCA is a practicing Chartered Accountant. He is a Council member and chairman of the Education & Training Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). He is also leading the implementation of the new Education Scheme.

Mr. Rehman regularly contributes toward setting frameworks, standards and policies related to education, examination, governance, anti-money laundering, financial reporting, XBRL, sustainability reporting, auditing, quality control/audit oversight, and investigation.

He was formerly a member of the committee improving the audit regime structure in Pakistan and represented ICAP during the World Bank’s ROSC review in Pakistan. He currently leads the ICAP’s advocacy for an accrual accounting system in Pakistan to Auditor General of Pakistan. He is a technical advisor for IFAC’s Professional Accountancy Organization Development & Advisory Group.
