Susan Flis

Susan Flis joined the International Accounting Education Standards Board in January 2019 after being nominated by EY. She previously served as a Technical Advisor for the board.

Mrs. Flis is an executive director in the Global Assurance Standards, Methodology, and Implementation group at EY. She is responsible for monitoring global standard-setting activity and developing appropriate guidance and enablers to support the effective and efficient implementation of these standards. She has had a variety of methodology and learning roles throughout her career.  

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
